  • I took my Kitty Jasmine to Lowell Road Vet Center because I thought she had ear mites. It turned out to be an infection. They provided me with the meds to make her feel better and hands on instruction on how to use the medicine. The whole staff was super friendly and didn’t push any unnecessary treatment. They gave me options, let me make the decisions and didn’t make me feel bad about turning some of them down. This is where I will be taking Jazzy for regular check-ups and vaccines. Their office cat was even friendly!–Katie Fitzgerald

  • We took our elderly cat who had been limping and we were very pleased with the way she was handled and we were treated. Dr. Komma was very compassionate and knowledgeable with the cat and gave us lots of options  for her treatment. We will be taking our other pets there for all their  medical needs.–Bernadette Chambers

  • The doctor is new as of April, 2013, and it makes all the difference in the world. I will continue to bring my pets here. Dr. Komma saw my dog after a seizure and was very compassionate & knowledgeable, and suggested that we avoid unnecessary tests & treatments unless more basic treatments don’t help. The rest of the staff was friendly and receptive. After visiting I felt informed about what my dog was going through, what to look for, and what our plan of action is going forward.–Dan Ruetz

  • I had a bad experience with the previous owner and took my dogs to another vet.  I just got a new puppy and decided to try Lowell Road Vet Center again, now that it is under new ownership.  I am pleasantly surprised and pleased for the following reasons.  Having three dogs (and three kids), cost is very important to me.  I find lower prices than at another large new facility where I pay extra for “overhead.”  The previous owner was unwilling to discount heartworm medicine and flea/tick control to be competitive with internet prices.  Dr. Komma was willing to work with me on this.  Dr. Komma and her staff are friendly and helpful, and I ALWAYS receive a followup phone call from them after an appointment to check on my puppy.  I’ve returned several times with my new puppy for various reasons (shots, neutering, sore paw), and find each subsequent visit to be more pleasant!  Dr. Komma and her staff are friendly and caring!  Give them another chance!!–Kathy N.

  • I had been looking for Vet Closer to my home, when my son saw the sign that said under new management. We called and got a appointment at my convenience. We went in, I was skeptical, I had heard not so great things about the last owner, and it was a smaller place than my last Vet. But I am so Happy I called. Everyone is so nice, and they loved Wade (my son’s dog) He got his shots and had his ears checked out (he was scratching) and he had a yeast infection, which he was treated for. The Vet was very patient with my son (teenage boy) and showed him how to do Wade’s medicine 2 times a day for 3 weeks and how to clean Wade’s ears. Again, skeptical when I went to check out, but it was VERY reasonable. I have an appointment coming up for My dog Lillie… My dogs are treated as they should be, a part of my family… and I am Happy I found such a caring place to take them…. HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU CHECK IT OUT…–C S.

  • I’ve recently started taking my cats here, after the loss of my previous  vet/father. I’m as picky and finicky about who I would like to take care of my cats, because they are my children. Dr. Komma has been extremely nice towards my cats and myself. She’s treated almost all of my kids and she treats them as if she would her own. She’s given a lot of helpful tips. The staff over there are all extremely nice and helpful as well. Each time my husband and I have taken our cats there I can see  that they love  what they’re doing and it shows in the work they do. Currently our cats are boarding with them and I’ve been calling practically everyday just to check on them, and each time they are always happy to hear me and report our furry kids are doing great. I am happy to have found this place for our cats and will not take them anywhere else!–Erica P.

  • As a new puppy owner after 22 years, I had so many questions re my 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy.  From the moment I entered Lowell Road Veterinary Center, both Maggie and I felt important.  From the vet tech who processed our information and helped in the examination, the vet’s daughter who immediately bonded with the puppy, to Dr. Komma, herself, the experience was most positive.  Dr. Komma gave me plenty of time to raise and answer any questions I had, and then she brought up some points re food, socializing, and future inoculations that my puppy would need.  I explained that I was a recent retiree on a fixed income and that I was hopeful that expenses could be kept to a minimum health requirement for my puppy and I really feel the doctor listened.  I never felt rushed.  I feel that Maggie and I have found a doctor (and a friend) who will be looking out for my puppy’s well-being.  Thank you.–Cindy G.

  • Dr Sudha Komma is a great Vet., a wonderful and compassionate person. My  cat Jack is with her right now and I am so grateful to her for her understanding in my situation and going above and beyond to help not only Jack, but me as well. She will now be my vet for all my animals, and I’m not hesitating telling people how happy I am to have her for my animals.–Renee J.

  • Dr. Sudha Komma, the new owner of Lowell Road Veterinary Center is an outstanding doctor who saved my 11 year old Weimeraner (Buddy Blue Eyes) last week. He collapsed and needed to have his spleen removed due to a mass on it. Dr Komma determined that based upon his improved condition that surgery should be performed. The surgery wqas performed by Dr Komma and another surgeon who has performed hundreds of thes surgeries.

The bottom line is that Buddy is going to be fine and the biopsy came back benign.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Komma. She is extremely experienced, compassionate and a wonderful person.

Buddy can;t keep talking about how much he loves his new vet.

Thanks Sudha. You and the staff are to be commended.–Kurtis C.

  • This facility is under new ownership as of March 2013. I was new to the area and had an emergency with my Sheppard. The doctor not only treated Jager with love and compassion, but she helped put my mind at ease as well. There was no up-selling, the rates were fair and actually lower than my previous vet in Nashua, and they open early at 7am.

I have been a pet owner all my life and she is with out a doubt the best vet I have ever had. I am glad she is here and so close.–David B.
